Bacterial is an American metal band from Anderson SC. The band was formed in 2017 by current lead guitarist Bradley Lewis and current drummer Easton McCollum, along with several mutual friends. The band has went through many genre and name changes, as it started under a punk/hardcore project, transitioned to a metalcore project, and when current singer Brian McClure sent in vocals layered over a demo we made in 2023, we decided to go a more death metal/heavy metal direction. Bacterial was born from that one decision, and in 2024 we had finished demos for our debut EP. We then added rhythm guitarist Alex Ortega and bassist Thomas Berning, and our EP "Born Of The Flies" was released late 2024. We are currently working on another project to be announced in the not too distant future.
